The Kids Interactive Entertainment Report highlights a clear hierarchy of needs for modern parents: after safety, 67.3% prioritize entertainment value, while 64.8% seek content that actively builds skills. When evaluating ten leading platforms, Lingokids secured the top position across all three metrics, earning a 4.8 out of 5 for safety and 4.7 for both fun and educational utility. In contrast, major platforms like YouTube and Roblox failed to exceed a 3 out of 5 rating in any category.

Safety and Education Top Parental Priorities for Children's Screentime
Eighty-seven percent of U.S. parents identify safety as the primary requirement for children’s digital content, according to a recent report from Lingokids. Among 2,000 surveyed families, the platform ranked higher than competitors in safety, engagement, and educational value, while YouTube and Roblox struggled to gain parental trust.

Parental anxiety regarding screentime is largely driven by fears of inappropriate content, yet most families acknowledge that curated digital experiences can serve as a positive developmental tool. Founder and CEO Cristóbal Viedma notes that with over 98% of families utilizing digital media for young children, the focus must shift toward content quality. For many users, Lingokids has become a preferred choice specifically because it mitigates the risks associated with open-ended platforms, allowing parents to treat digital play as a reward rather than a source of concern.
