Molex Targets 25Gbps Automotive Ethernet with HSAutoLink G Launch
As software-defined vehicles demand higher bandwidth for ADAS and autonomous systems, Molex has unveiled its HSAutoLink G connector system. The new hardware supports multi-gigabit automotive Ethernet performance up to 25Gbps, utilizing a USCAR-compatible interface designed to streamline integration into existing zonal and central compute architectures.
Min Kong, regional general manager for Connected Mobility Systems at Molex, noted that the system is engineered to help manufacturers navigate the performance bottlenecks inherent in the transition to software-defined vehicle architectures. Beyond speed, the hardware includes physical refinements such as an anti-stubbing terminal design to protect contacts during mating and a reversible housing shroud for routing flexibility. Molex is currently providing product samples to OEMs and tier-one suppliers, with a broader showcase scheduled for Electronica China 2026.
