SteriMax Expands Reach with Andone Pharmaceuticals Acquisition
Oakville-based SteriMax Inc. has acquired Andone Pharmaceuticals, a strategic move that pushes the private Canadian drugmaker into the medical device and veterinary sectors. The deal integrates Andone’s diversified commercial verticals with SteriMax’s established portfolio of sterile injectables, signaling a shift toward broader healthcare market coverage.

Samir Acharya, President and CEO of SteriMax, noted that the acquisition accelerates the company’s push into adjacent markets where long-term growth potential remains high. For SteriMax, which currently supplies approximately 40 million doses annually, the integration provides a platform to expand its customer relationships beyond the standard injectable market. Financial advisory services for the transaction were provided by Bourne Partners for SteriMax and Bloom Burton & Co. for Andone.
