Brookfield and Bloom Energy Scale AI Power Deal to $25 Billion

The commitment serves as a cornerstone for Brookfield’s broader AI Infrastructure Fund, a massive vehicle launched in November with a target of $100 billion in total deployments. This capital is intended to solve the bottleneck of electricity supply that currently threatens to stall the rapid scaling of high-performance computing clusters.

Bloom Energy’s Chief Commercial Officer Aman Joshi noted that the move mirrors the intensity of market activity and the pressure to secure power capacity. Following the announcement, Bloom Energy shares jumped 15% in after-hours trading to reach $347.40. The stock has already seen a meteoric rise this year, climbing roughly 250% as investors bet on the company’s fuel cell technology to bridge the widening energy gap.
