Edifier Launches HECATE G5 MAX Headset With 305-Hour Battery

With a staggering 305-hour battery life, Edifier’s new HECATE G5 MAX wireless headset enters the competitive gaming market aiming to eliminate frequent charging. Priced at $149.99, the device integrates THX Spatial Audio+ and titanium-coated drivers to bridge the gap between professional-grade acoustic performance and long-session gaming endurance.

The G5 MAX centers on a 2000mAh battery that dwarfs standard wireless headset capacities, allowing for extended use without tethering to a power source. Beyond its longevity, the headset features 53mm titanium-coated drivers and PEN titanium diaphragm technology, achieving triple Hi-Res Audio certification. This hardware configuration is designed to maintain distortion levels below 1%, targeting users who prioritize high-fidelity sound across music and competitive gaming.

Technical performance is bolstered by THX Spatial Audio+ and 7.1.4 virtual surround sound, which emphasizes positional accuracy for footsteps and environmental cues. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.0, supporting SBC and LHDC 5.0 codecs, alongside a dedicated 2.4G wireless mode for low-latency transmission. Voice clarity is managed by a detachable 9.75mm unidirectional microphone supported by AI-driven noise cancellation to isolate speech from background interference. The HECATE G5 MAX is available starting July 1, 2026, through Amazon and Edifier’s direct retail channels.
