Group 1 Toyota West Bank Launches Storm Relief Drive in Harvey

With families across the region grappling with the aftermath of recent severe storms, Group 1 Toyota West Bank has transformed its Harvey dealership into a frontline hub for disaster recovery, partnering with the United Cajun Navy to coordinate the collection of essential supplies and financial aid for displaced residents.

Running through July 15, the dealership is accepting donations of non-perishable food and hygiene products during standard business hours. These supplies are slated for immediate distribution by the United Cajun Navy, a non-profit specialized in rapid search and rescue operations. Beyond physical goods, the dealership is redirecting a portion of all automotive service revenue toward the organization’s ongoing rebuilding efforts.

Market Director Krista St. Romain stated that the initiative aims to offer a centralized point for neighbors to offer support while the community navigates the recovery process. Residents interested in contributing or scheduling maintenance can find additional details at the company’s website or by contacting the dealership directly at 504-341-3300.
