The delivery follows a strategic R&D agreement signed in March 2026, which deepened collaboration on field applications and intelligent lifting technologies. This package covers a diverse operational spectrum, utilizing the XCA160H all-terrain and XCR90 rough terrain models to support Sarens’ projects across 65 countries. Wim Sarens, CEO of Sarens NV, confirmed that the company now employs XCMG machinery in more than 20 nations, noting the equipment's performance in demanding industrial environments.

XCMG Deploys Heavy-Lift Fleet for Sarens Global Operations
Belgium-based heavy-lift specialist Sarens Group has finalized the integration of a massive new XCMG crane fleet, marking a significant expansion in the partnership between the Chinese manufacturer and the global rental provider. The delivery includes high-capacity XLC18000M crawler cranes alongside specialized all-terrain and rough terrain units.
Central to the deployment is the XLC18000M crawler crane, engineered specifically for large-scale wind energy, petrochemical, and bridge infrastructure. It works in tandem with the XCA3000 all-terrain crane, a model designed to mitigate load-chart derating at height. By transitioning from simple equipment export to providing integrated, lifecycle-managed lifting solutions, XCMG aims to solidify its footprint in premium international markets while supporting global green energy expansion.
