National Sleep Foundation Opens 2026 SleepTech Award Submissions

The National Sleep Foundation has launched its ninth annual SleepTech Award, seeking to highlight the year's most significant advancements in sleep science. Innovators have until September 25, 2026, to submit entries that bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and improved health outcomes for the general public and clinical patients.

The competition evaluates entries across two distinct tracks: Sleep Health and Wellness, focusing on consumer-facing daily routines, and Sleep Disorders and Conditions, which targets solutions for diagnosis and treatment. Unlike standard commercial product reviews, the NSF program relies on a formal judging process rather than compensated endorsements. Winners are expected to be announced in October 2026.

John Lopos, CEO of the National Sleep Foundation, emphasized that the organization prioritizes innovations rooted in verified sleep science. Past recipients of the honor include Nanit and Onera Health. While the application process involves a processing fee, the organization offers waivers for members of its SleepTech Network to encourage broader participation from emerging tech developers.
