Lupin Secures Spot on TIME and Statista Sustainability Ranking
Lupin Limited has debuted on the 2026 World’s Most Sustainable Companies list, compiled by TIME and Statista. The Mumbai-headquartered pharmaceutical major secured the 318th position out of 750 global organizations, marking its first appearance on the prestigious index for environmental stewardship and corporate governance.

Ramesh Swaminathan, the company's executive director and global CFO, noted that the ranking validates the firm's strategy of embedding ESG priorities across its international operations. This latest accolade follows a string of external recognitions for the company, including a 91-point score in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment and a top-tier 'A' rating from CDP for both water security and climate change management. The company currently employs over 24,000 people across 15 manufacturing sites and seven research centers, maintaining a presence in more than 100 markets.
