DragonGC Launches AI Workflows for Securities Law Compliance

Securities lawyers face a mounting pressure to ensure disclosure accuracy while navigating thousands of pages of regulatory filings. DragonGC, a Greenwich-based legal tech firm, is addressing this by releasing a suite of AI-driven workflows that provide fully cited, traceable outputs for high-stakes public company compliance tasks.

The platform update centers on integrating a proprietary knowledge graph of SEC filings and regulatory guidance with an AI research engine. By creating a controlled environment, or 'walled garden,' the company aims to eliminate the risks of unreliable inputs often found in general-purpose AI models. According to Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Neil McCarthy, the system prioritizes accountability by linking every generated conclusion directly to the original regulatory source material.

DragonGC now offers specific automated workflows for critical legal processes, including form compliance checks for 10-Ks and 8-Ks, risk factor benchmarking against peer disclosures, and analysis of SEC Staff comment letter trends. For IPO preparation, the platform assists in drafting complex sections like the Business Section and MD&A. Currently, the system houses over 8 million tagged datapoints. Designed for both in-house counsel and law firms, the platform maintains SOC 2 compliance and explicitly prohibits the use of client data for model training.
