CEO Jim Sullivan emphasized that the decision to streamline the menu is a strategic move to improve speed and service quality. Rather than overwhelming the kitchen with a sprawling array of new items, the brand is narrowing its focus to a handful of high-impact products. This approach is intended to ensure that every burger and shake meets the chain's quality standards, providing customers with a more reliable experience during their visit.
The new lineup features two primary burger additions: the Pickle Stack Smash, which joins the brand's $4.99 value menu, and the returning fan-favorite Smoked Brisket Bacon Smash. The latter uses 14-hour pit-smoked brisket and applewood smoked bacon to satisfy demand for premium ingredients. These are accompanied by two Häagen-Dazs hand-spun shakes in Chocolate Banana Chip and Dark Cherry Chip varieties. According to CMO Kate Savelli, the move reflects a balance between responding to consumer trends—such as the popularity of pickle-forward flavors—and honoring the brand's culinary heritage.
