Corbitt Burns, managing director of loyalty and co-brand at Southwest, stated that these tools provide customers with greater flexibility when booking flights while maintaining the airline's standard service model. This move aligns Southwest with other major carriers that have increasingly adopted buy-now-pay-later services to accommodate varying passenger budgets.
