Wallace Saunders Reports Unauthorized Network Access

An unauthorized actor infiltrated the Wallace Saunders network for three days in May, potentially exposing sensitive client files. The Overland Park-based firm, which identified the breach on May 18, confirmed that the intruder had access to Social Security numbers, medical records, and legal documentation during the incident.

Wallace Saunders Reports Unauthorized Network Access

The unauthorized activity occurred between May 16 and May 18, 2026. After detecting the breach, the firm engaged digital forensics specialists to secure their environment and identify the scope of the exposure. While the firm currently holds no evidence that the stolen data has been misused, they began notifying affected individuals on July 2.

Potentially compromised data includes driver's license numbers, financial account details, and various materials handled during legal representation. To assist those impacted, Wallace Saunders has launched a dedicated toll-free call center at (855)-302-4850, operating weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time. The firm recommends that individuals contact major credit bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—to monitor their accounts for suspicious activity and consider placing a credit freeze on their files.
