Sandeep Nair has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Smardt, the global leader in oil-free centrifugal chiller technology. He succeeds Albert Yam, who will transition to the company's Board of Directors, as the firm pivots its strategy toward the rapidly expanding thermal management needs of AI-driven data centers.
Beyond traditional oil-free cooling, the company is pushing into heat pumps and air-side systems through its Smardt AIR division. Nair’s mandate includes strengthening the firm's footprint in critical infrastructure, specifically targeting the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, and green energy sectors.
