Airties Acquires Aprecomm to Scale AI-Driven Connectivity in Emerging Markets
Paris-based Airties has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Bengaluru-based Aprecomm, a specialist in self-healing Wi-Fi network solutions. The deal aims to accelerate Airties' footprint in high-growth broadband markets across India, Southeast Asia, and South America while integrating advanced AI-native software into its existing connectivity management platform.

Metin Taskin, CEO and co-founder of Airties, noted that the acquisition serves as a pillar for the company's shift toward agentic AI platforms, which allow home networks to autonomously anticipate and adapt to connectivity demands. While Airties has historically focused on Tier-1 operators with its Home, Pro, and Multi suites, the addition of Aprecomm’s technology provides a more flexible, vendor-agnostic toolset to address diverse global market dynamics. The transaction is expected to close later in 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
