Creek & River Profit Jumps to 1.49 Billion Yen in First Quarter

A 57 percent surge in net profit highlights the latest quarterly results for Tokyo-based Creek & River Co. Ltd., as the company reported 1.49 billion yen in earnings for the period ending May 31, up significantly from the 945 million yen recorded during the same quarter last year.

Revenue at the firm climbed to 17.03 billion yen, reflecting a strong expansion from the 13.84 billion yen generated in the prior-year period. Operating profit mirrored this upward trajectory, reaching 2.20 billion yen compared to 1.45 billion yen a year earlier. Pretax profit followed a similar path, climbing to 2.19 billion yen from 1.44 billion yen.

Shareholders saw earnings per share rise to 70.18 yen from 44.70 yen in 2025. Diluted earnings also reached 70.18 yen, an increase from the 44.57 yen reported previously. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, reflect a robust start to the 2026 fiscal year for the group.
