Sankyo-Tateyama Losses Balloon to 13.5 Billion Yen

Revenue for the company dipped slightly to 357.53 billion yen, compared to 359.42 billion yen in the prior fiscal period. Despite the substantial net deficit, operating profit remained flat at 1.55 billion yen, mirroring the figures reported in 2025. Pretax profit also saw a marginal decline, settling at 882.00 million yen against the previous year's 944.00 million yen.

The widening gap in net profitability translated to a loss per share of 430.74 yen, a steep climb from the 74.54 yen loss recorded in the same period last year. These figures, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, underscore a challenging environment for the firm as it navigates significant earnings pressure.
