Tortorella, currently serving as CEO of AccentCare, brings two decades of experience in managing complex healthcare ecosystems, including supply chain logistics and laboratory services. Her background in driving organizational growth and post-acquisition integration is expected to bolster NVA’s operational capabilities. Joining her is Dr. Hunt, a former Executive Vice President at IDEXX Laboratories, who is credited with scaling multi-billion dollar diagnostic franchises and implementing AI-enabled veterinary platforms. Hunt also contributes governance expertise from her previous role as an Audit Committee member at Veeva Systems.

NVA Chairman Ken Burdick noted that the appointments are designed to align the Board’s leadership with the evolving demands of the veterinary sector. CEO John Bruno stated that the additions will support the company’s objective to make pet care more accessible and personalized. Operating a network of over 1,300 veterinary hospitals and pet resorts across North America, the company aims to leverage these new board members to refine its clinical strategy and improve the connection between veterinary practices and pet owners.
