Loffler Companies Acquires Fisher's Technology to Expand Western Reach

Minnesota-based Loffler Companies has acquired the 89-year-old Idaho firm Fisher's Technology, marking the largest geographic expansion in Loffler's four-decade history. The deal unites two family-owned office technology providers across ten states, extending Loffler’s footprint into the Intermountain West and the Pacific Northwest without disrupting current local operations.

Fisher's Technology will retain its established brand name, pricing models, and existing support contracts. Ty Grigsby, who has served as the company's president, will remain at the helm as Market President while joining the Loffler executive leadership team. This structure aims to preserve the operational autonomy that earned Fisher’s a reputation as a "Best Place to Work" in Idaho for 18 consecutive years.

The two organizations share nearly identical service portfolios, spanning managed IT, cybersecurity, and document automation. Because their respective service territories in the Midwest and the West do not overlap, the merger functions as a strategic consolidation rather than a restructuring. James Loffler, CEO of Loffler Companies, noted that the partnership stems from a two-decade professional friendship between the firms, emphasizing a shared corporate culture that prioritizes employee retention and community investment. While financial terms of the acquisition remain undisclosed, the move positions the combined entity as a major national player in the business technology sector.
