Shay Mitchell and Esther Song Launch Korean-Formulated Kids Skincare

After four years of clinical development, the children’s personal care brand rini has unveiled its Daily Care Essentials line. Co-founded by Shay Mitchell, Esther Song, and Matte Babel, the collection merges Korean formulation expertise with U.S. pediatric standards to address the specific needs of sensitive, developing skin.

The debut collection features a Daily Barrier Cream, a Face & Body Lotion, and a Foaming Face & Body Wash, all of which are EWG Verified and accepted by the National Eczema Association. Developed alongside Korean scientists and American pediatric specialists, the products are designed to be hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and suitable for the entire family. The brand’s Daily Barrier Cream, in particular, leverages a blend of Ceramide NP, Cica, and Shea Butter to offer 72-hour hydration, targeting the moisture loss common in younger skin.

Beyond product development, rini has committed a portion of sales from these essentials to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The launch reflects a broader effort by the founders to provide non-steroidal, gentle alternatives for children with chronic skin concerns. Every formula underwent rigorous testing, including EpiOcular evaluations and pediatrician-led trials, to ensure compatibility with delicate skin types. The full line is currently available at heyrini.com, with individual items ranging from $19.99 to $24.99.
