Cognizant Secures Spot on TIME's Inaugural Best Companies List

Cognizant has earned a place on TIME’s inaugural America’s Best Companies 2026 list, a ranking recognizing 1,000 U.S. firms for their operational standards. The New Jersey-based technology services provider was selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of its financial trajectory, commitment to sustainability, and internal workforce culture.

The ranking, developed in partnership with Statista Inc., weighed three core pillars: financial performance, sustainability transparency, and employee satisfaction. To determine the winners, researchers analyzed multi-year growth data and incorporated feedback from 217,000 employee surveys, which assessed workplace conditions, compensation, and general reputation. For Cognizant, the inclusion validates a strategic shift toward fostering a culture of continuous learning and AI-focused skill development.

"Our ability to lead as an AI builder starts with our people," said Kathy Diaz, Chief People Officer at Cognizant. She noted that the organization has prioritized equipping its workforce for future demands, creating an environment where curiosity is incentivized. This latest accolade joins a series of recent recognitions for the firm, including certifications from Great Place to Work and listings from Ethisphere. As the company continues its expansion, it maintains an active recruitment pipeline, with plans to hire over 1,000 entry-level associates across North America before the end of 2026.
