Rest Wins 2026 Red Dot Award for Cooling Sheet Technology

The Evercool+ Cooling Sheet Set has secured a 2026 Red Dot Design Concept Award, marking a significant milestone for the Newark-based bedding brand. The international jury selected the product within the Bedroom Furniture and Beds category, citing its blend of high-performance thermal regulation and industrial design innovation.

Rest Wins 2026 Red Dot Award for Cooling Sheet Technology

Constructed from proprietary fabric, the sheets utilize ultra-fine, high-density fibers to achieve a Qmax cooling rating of 0.44. This measurement significantly outpaces traditional materials such as cotton, which typically records 0.11, silk at 0.19, and bamboo at 0.15. By integrating Ionic+ silver yarn directly into the weave, the product inhibits bacterial growth and reduces odors without relying on chemical additives. Strategic fiber knitting is employed to enhance moisture dispersion, providing an immediate cool-to-the-touch sensation for the user.

Andy Nguyen, co-founder of Rest, described the accolade as a testament to the company's commitment to merging performance with comfort. The product is currently available in sizes ranging from Twin to California King, with retail pricing set between $269 and $349. This award follows a series of industry recognitions for the brand, including consecutive wins for their cooling comforter and pillow collections in previous health and lifestyle publications.
