Daily frequency reached 141.8 million calls throughout the month, averaging 1,642 attempts every second. Despite the monthly uptick, the 48.7 billion calls recorded over the past 12 months remain at their lowest level since November 2022. YouMail CEO Alex Quilici notes that while activity is trending upward from last October’s lows, the volume remains relatively suppressed compared to historical peaks.

U.S. Robocall Volume Hits 4.25 Billion in June
Americans were hit with 4.25 billion robocalls in June 2026, marking the highest monthly volume since July of last year. While the total represents a slight 3.4% increase over May, the broader trend shows a 13% decline year-over-year, according to the latest data from the YouMail Robocall Index.

Unwanted telemarketing and scams accounted for 2.02 billion of the total, while payment reminders and other notifications made up the remainder. A significant driver of June's volume was a persistent campaign by Silver Oak Loans, which utilized thousands of phone numbers to pitch debt consolidation to consumers who never requested such services. This single operation generated over 30 million calls, prompting concerns about large-scale illegal telemarketing. Analysts advise that reporting these numbers to platforms like the YouMail Directory remains the most effective way to help carriers and regulators block such traffic at the network level.
