Tom Hanks to Narrate Immersive Moonwalkers Experience in South Florida
As global interest in lunar exploration intensifies with the Artemis program, South Florida PBS is preparing to host The Moonwalkers: A Journey with Tom Hanks. The immersive cinematic production, which combines restored NASA footage with spatial audio, is set to debut this September for local audiences.
Tom Hanks, who co-wrote and narrates the production, described the project as an attempt to capture the human commitment behind the original moon landings. South Florida PBS President and CEO Dolores Fernandez Alonso noted that the exhibition aligns with the organization's focus on education and innovation. Interested visitors can currently register for a waitlist to secure early access to ticket information for the September 2026 launch.
