Unilumin Climbs to Top 6% in Global Sustainability Rankings

Shenzhen-based Unilumin Group has secured an EcoVadis Silver Medal, a distinction placing the LED manufacturer within the top 6% of companies evaluated worldwide. The rating validates the firm’s progress across environmental management, labor rights, and ethical procurement standards as it shifts toward a more energy-efficient product lifecycle.

Unilumin Climbs to Top 6% in Global Sustainability Rankings

The company’s environmental strategy centers on integrating low-carbon engineering from raw material sourcing through manufacturing. A notable application of this approach is the Usurface PL1 outdoor display; utilizing proprietary DVPS energy-saving technology, the system reduces electricity consumption by 36,500 kWh annually per 100 square meters. Furthermore, 70% of the firm’s premium lighting portfolio now carries Environmental Product Declaration certification.

Internal governance and human rights standards have seen similar formalization. Unilumin holds SA8000 Social Accountability certification and has digitized employee relations through an AI-powered HR assistant launched in 2025. Beyond internal operations, the company achieved 100% audit coverage of its primary suppliers during the same period. These governance efforts are reflected in the firm’s consistent 'A' rating for information disclosure from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, marking it as a leader in corporate transparency within the LED sector.
