Zeta Phi Beta Launches Inaugural International Pitch Competition

Seven entrepreneurs will compete for a $10,000 top prize as Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated hosts its first international business pitch competition. Held during the 2026 Grand Boulé in Nashville on July 10, the event marks a significant expansion of the organization's Women Who Win economic empowerment initiative.

Zeta Phi Beta Launches Inaugural International Pitch Competition

The finalists, selected from regional competitions across the sorority’s global network, will present their business models to a panel of corporate leaders and judges. Beyond the $10,000 first-place award, the competition offers $5,000 for second place and $2,500 for third, providing both capital and professional exposure to participants.

Since its launch, the Women Who Win platform has pivoted from a basic business directory to a comprehensive ecosystem focused on procurement readiness, leadership training, and strategic networking. Maryam Lynch-Tate, International Co-Director, noted that the initiative aims to build sustainable, generational wealth for its members. By integrating pitch events into the Grand Boulé, the organization intends to bridge the gap between regional innovation and national-scale business development. International Co-Director Diana L. Hilaire emphasized that the program is designed to amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs while securing the resources necessary for them to scale their enterprises in competitive markets.
