The appointment marks the culmination of Tittle’s multi-year tenure within the association, where he previously held roles including treasurer, secretary, and chair of the medical malpractice section. To honor the milestone, his entire firm staff closed their offices to attend the installation ceremony, underscoring the professional weight of the leadership transition.

In his inaugural address, Tittle urged fellow trial attorneys to shift their focus toward proactive legislative engagement. He challenged the membership to help shape public policy before it restricts the rights of those they represent, advocating for more lawyers to pursue public office. Meghan P. Connolly, a partner at Tittle & Perlmuter, noted that his leadership extends beyond courtroom litigation, aiming to preserve the structural integrity of the state’s civil justice system for future claimants. The association, founded in 1953, continues to position itself as a counterbalance to corporate and insurance interests in Ohio courtrooms.
