Brand Engagement Network Launches U.S. Expansion for Cataneo Platform

Brand Engagement Network has established a new commercial headquarters on Madison Avenue in New York City, signaling the formal U.S. launch of the Cataneo media technology platform. The move follows the company’s June acquisition of the German firm, aiming to integrate AI capabilities into established global advertising infrastructure.

Brand Engagement Network Launches U.S. Expansion for Cataneo Platform

The expansion centers on the MYDAS platform, which currently tracks over €6 billion in annual advertising inventory across 1,000 global brands. By pairing Cataneo’s existing workflow software with its proprietary Engagement Language Model, Brand Engagement Network intends to automate complex tasks such as ad sales, scheduling, and forecasting for American broadcasters and content owners.

To spearhead this growth, the company appointed Don Durand as Chief Sales Officer. Durand, a veteran of WideOrbit and Imagine Communications, brings two decades of experience in the U.S. media landscape to lead the commercial strategy. Simultaneously, Cataneo co-founder Christian Unterseer has joined the Brand Engagement Network board of directors. Unterseer, who built the Cataneo business over 25 years, will focus on corporate strategy and future acquisitions, emphasizing a transition from traditional cloud-based management to AI-driven operational systems.
