Cumberland Packaging Adopts Amtech ERP to Scale UK Operations
Southend-on-Sea based Cumberland Packaging has tapped Amtech Software to overhaul its production and inventory management. By deploying the Encore ERP platform, one of the UK’s top five independent corrugated sheet plants aims to refine its manufacturing workflow and tighten delivery schedules across its diverse product range.
John Watson, Managing Director at Cumberland, cited the platform’s industry-specific design as the deciding factor in the selection process. The integration seeks to provide the transparency required to maintain the company's service benchmarks. Amtech CEO Chuck Schneider noted that the collaboration serves as a gateway to further growth within the UK and Ireland regions, leveraging the firm’s existing infrastructure to support high-volume manufacturing environments.
