EHVA.ai and CareFactor Automate Provider Calls with Voice AI

CareFactor is deploying EHVA.ai’s conversational voice platform to handle 80% of its inbound provider inquiries. The partnership aims to eliminate hold times for medical, dental, and vision benefit checks, allowing the Columbus-based administrator to scale its service capacity without increasing headcount or sacrificing response accuracy.

The integration automates routine tasks including eligibility verification, claims status updates, and the tracking of out-of-pocket accumulator balances. By shifting these high-volume queries to an automated system, CareFactor intends to provide instant, round-the-clock access to data for medical providers, moving away from traditional call center queues that often delay administrative workflows.

Robert Ochall, president of CareFactor, stated that the collaboration allows the company to maintain its standard of service at scale, ensuring provider partners receive immediate answers. Jeff Schaffer, Chief Revenue Officer at EHVA.ai, noted that the platform was specifically engineered for the high-volume requirements of third-party administrators, providing a dedicated infrastructure to manage call reliability and security. This move signals a broader shift among long-standing benefit administrators toward AI-driven infrastructure to manage growing membership complexity.
