The new connectors function as a managed bridge, allowing pharmaceutical brands to maintain the same standards of medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) oversight used in traditional marketing channels. Harshit Jain, founder and global CEO of Doceree, noted that the industry has long viewed generative AI as a blind spot, but the integration allows these interfaces to operate under the same compliance framework as established advertising channels.

Doceree Integrates Pharma-Grade Governance into Generative AI Platforms
Healthcare marketing firm Doceree has launched native connectors for ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude, aiming to bridge the gap between generative AI and pharmaceutical compliance. By integrating its proprietary Semmelweis model, the company seeks to bring clinical intelligence and strict regulatory guardrails to the platforms where patients and clinicians conduct initial health research.

At the core of this integration is Semmelweis, a pharma-specific reasoning model designed to operate without accessing patient data. The system relies on de-identified, HCP-level context to ensure adherence to HIPAA and GDPR requirements. According to Doceree president Kamya Elawadhi, the infrastructure ensures that every action remains human-approved and fully auditable. This move represents a shift toward an open ecosystem where generative AI platforms are treated as orchestrated components of a broader commercialization strategy rather than isolated, unregulated silos.
