For over four decades, RCI has served as the primary link between manufacturers of network components and the field operators building the nation's communications backbone. Now, the company is pivoting to capture the multi-trillion-dollar surge in AI infrastructure. President Eric Farst noted that the firm’s partners are increasingly demanding end-to-end solutions as artificial intelligence forces a convergence of traditional telecom and high-density data center requirements.

Rep Com International Pivots to AI and Data Center Infrastructure
With the U.S. facing a generational buildout of AI-driven data capacity, Venice-based Rep Com International is formalizing its entry into critical data center infrastructure. The firm, a long-standing representative for telecommunications manufacturers, aims to bridge the gap between hardware production and the massive demand for expanded fiber and power networks.

To lead this transition, RCI appointed Will Bryan as Vice President of data center expansion and strategic accounts. Bryan, who brings 30 years of technical and executive experience in optical engineering and broadband systems, is tasked with recruiting new manufacturer lines and securing hyperscale and colocation accounts. His mandate leverages RCI’s existing national field engineering team to support the complex demands of modern data traffic. Farst indicated that this move is the first of several planned investments, as the company seeks to expand its line card and team to mirror the rapid evolution of the AI infrastructure sector.
