This top-line improvement was overshadowed by significant gains in operational efficiency, as operating profit jumped to 790 million yen from 257 million yen. Pretax profit followed a similar trajectory, climbing to 1.10 billion yen from 588 million yen a year prior.

Earnings per share rose to 88.48 yen from 41.36 yen, reflecting the broader strengthening of the company's financial position throughout the three quarters.
