Goodwall and HP Expand AI Education Across Latin America

To mark World Youth Skills Day, Goodwall and HP Inc. are scaling their partnership to deliver AI training and hardware to young people throughout Brazil and Latin America. By localizing content into Portuguese and Spanish, the initiative aims to bridge the growing literacy gap in an increasingly automated global job market.

The expansion centers on the AI Fundamentals program, a core pillar of the NextGen AI Alliance. This coalition, which includes Microsoft and Cognizant, provides students with practical challenges and hands-on experience using AI tools. Top participants will receive HP technology, directly addressing the hardware barriers that often hinder digital inclusion in developing regions. Since its 2025 launch, the initiative has reached over two million learners worldwide, with more than 151,000 securing HP-branded credentials.

This shift addresses urgent labor market projections. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025 suggests that 39% of worker skills will shift by 2030, with AI literacy becoming the primary determinant of the next digital divide. HP intends to integrate its own workforce into this ecosystem, with plans for employees to provide direct mentorship and career guidance to students via the Goodwall app. Michele Malejki, Global Head of Social Impact at HP, noted that the collaboration supports the company’s broader goal to accelerate the future of work for 150 million people by 2030.
