The acquisition arrives as AvAir intensifies its push into technical service, building on a recent strategic purchase of over 1,600 wheel and brake units from Lufthansa Technik. By bringing these maintenance capabilities in-house, AvAir shifts from a traditional inventory provider to a more integrated service hub. According to AvAir President Brandon Wesson, the move bridges the gap between parts sourcing and certified repair, allowing for faster response times across the company’s distribution network.

AvAir Acquires Full Stop Technics to Bolster MRO Operations
Chandler-based AvAir has acquired Wisconsin’s Full Stop Technics, integrating specialized wheel and brake repair into its global aviation aftermarket portfolio. The deal combines AvAir’s massive inventory scale with the Milwaukee firm’s FAA- and EASA-certified maintenance expertise, aiming to streamline supply and service cycles for international airline and OEM customers.

Full Stop Technics brings nearly 40 years of operational history to the partnership. Bill Morales, president of the Milwaukee-based MRO, noted that the alignment of service values was central to the decision to join the Arizona firm. The acquisition follows a period of aggressive expansion for AvAir, which recently opened a third facility in Dallas and celebrated 25 years in the aviation aftermarket sector with six consecutive Parts Supplier of the Year honors from Airline Economics.
