The initiative leverages Nuvo’s proprietary monitoring technology alongside The Pregnancy Care Group’s expansive network of hospitals, employers, and government agencies. By shifting physician-directed prenatal care from the clinic into the home, the organizations hope to offer continuous oversight for patients who otherwise face significant barriers to frequent in-person visits.

Nuvo and The Pregnancy Care Group Partner to Expand Remote Prenatal Care
Expectant mothers in underserved regions are set to gain broader access to remote monitoring through a new partnership between Nuvo and The Pregnancy Care Group. The collaboration aims to deploy the FDA-cleared INVU wearable platform to bridge gaps in maternity care and reduce the incidence of preventable stillbirths nationwide.

Nuvo CEO Laurence Klein emphasized that geographical location should not dictate the standard of care for mothers and their babies. For his part, PCG President Andrew Brandstetter noted that the integration of the INVU platform into their outreach efforts is a direct response to the persistent disparities in maternal health. The partners plan to utilize joint funding and educational programs to reach communities located in maternity care deserts, focusing on evidence-based interventions to improve both maternal and fetal outcomes.
