Gallatin AI Wins Pentagon Contract for Battlefield Logistics Tool

Adversary strikes and shifting supply chains can dismantle a sustainment plan in hours. To counter this volatility, the Defense Innovation Unit has tapped Gallatin AI to deploy its Navigator platform across U.S. Army Europe and Africa, aiming to turn stagnant logistics into a predictive, real-time decision engine.

The Navigator system leverages machine learning to forecast demand and identify potential shortfalls before they disrupt operations. For the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative, the software will prioritize critical logistics such as medical supply chains and casualty evacuation planning. CEO Woody Glier noted that the platform underwent rigorous testing during combat training center rotations, preparing it for the high-stakes demands of theater-level sustainment.

Scale AI has joined the initiative as a key partner, contributing its Generative AI Platform to validate recommended courses of action. By integrating this validation layer, logisticians can stress-test supply plans against mission context at the speed required for modern Joint Planning cycles. This contract marks a significant expansion for the El Segundo-based firm, which aims to modernize the Joint Logistics Enterprise from production to the front lines.
