The leadership changes arrive as Thyme Care reports significant growth, with its platform now reaching 10.5 million Americans and managing $6 billion in oncology spending. Diephuis, a primary care physician and former senior advisor at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, has been instrumental in the company’s payer expansion strategy since joining in 2022. He will lead alongside co-founder and chief medical officer Dr. Bobby Green.

As executive chairman, Shah will spearhead expansion into emerging business lines targeting drug affordability, clinical trial access, and systemic care alignment. The company also announced that Marcia Macphearson, formerly of Imagine Pediatrics, has joined as chief operating officer to support the firm's operational scaling. This reorganization coincides with a strong commercial period for the company, which recently reported a 16% reduction in all-cause inpatient utilization and a 10% decrease in total cost of care for key Medicare Advantage partners.
