Harel Insurance Secures Top-Tier AM Best Rating
AM Best has assigned Harel Insurance an A (Excellent) financial strength rating, marking the highest grade currently held by any financial institution in Israel. The assessment, accompanied by a stable outlook, recognizes the firm's robust balance sheet and its dominant position within the local insurance and asset management sectors.

Nir Cohen, CEO of Harel Group, described the dual ratings as an independent validation of the company's business model. According to Cohen, the recognition bolsters the insurer’s standing among global reinsurers, investors, and policyholders. Harel, which manages approximately NIS 630 billion in assets, continues to leverage its diversified portfolio—spanning life, health, and non-life insurance alongside pension and provident fund management—to sustain its leadership in the Israeli market.
