The site complements Quad’s existing production hubs in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Franklin, Wisconsin, alongside its international operations in the Dominican Republic. By placing production closer to brands in the food, beverage, and health sectors, the company aims to improve speed-to-market for regional and national partners. The facility will be equipped with high-speed Heidelberg XL 106 press technology, including UV capabilities, die cutters, and folding gluers.

Quad Expands Packaging Reach with New Salt Lake City Plant
With the addition of a 100,000-square-foot facility in Salt Lake City, Quad is securing a coast-to-coast manufacturing footprint. The expansion, scheduled to go live in the fourth quarter of 2026, positions the marketing firm to cut lead times and logistics costs for consumer packaged goods clients across the western United States.

Joel Quadracci, Chairman and CEO of Quad, noted that the move is central to the company’s strategy of scaling its footprint in high-growth categories. The project launches with pre-existing client volume, providing an immediate operational baseline. Division President Tim Ohnmacht emphasized that the location was chosen for its access to major interstate highways and its proximity to a robust pool of skilled labor and prominent consumer goods brands.
