The Galleri test identifies DNA signals associated with more than 50 cancer types, including pancreatic, ovarian, and liver cancers, often before clinical symptoms emerge. While standard screenings remain vital, this tool serves as an additional layer for members over age 50 who are not currently undergoing cancer treatment. Clinical data indicates the test maintains a 90% accuracy rate in predicting the tissue of origin for detected cancer signals.

EHE Health Adds GRAIL Multi-Cancer Screening to Preventive Care
Nearly 70% of cancer deaths stem from malignancies currently lacking standard screening protocols, a gap EHE Health aims to close by integrating GRAIL’s Galleri test into its national provider network. Starting in mid-July, the preventive healthcare provider will offer the blood-based screening as an optional enhancement for eligible executive and self-pay members.

Eligible members can access the test at a discounted rate of $799, a $150 reduction from the standard cost. The process requires a consultation with an independent clinician to confirm eligibility, followed by a blood draw at a Quest facility or through an at-home phlebotomist. Results and subsequent care coordination are handled exclusively by independent providers, ensuring the diagnostic process remains separate from the routine EHE exam. Dr. Neal Mills, Chief Medical Officer at EHE Health, stated that the move reflects a commitment to incorporating evidence-based emerging technologies into routine proactive care models. GRAIL’s Vice President of Medical Affairs, Megan Hall, emphasized that the collaboration broadens the reach of early detection tools to populations where intervention is most likely to improve outcomes.
