Group 1 Automotive Rebrands Denton Dealership to Standardize Network

Denton CDJR has officially transitioned to Group 1 CDJR Denton, marking the latest step in a nationwide initiative by Houston-based retailer Group 1 Automotive to unify its dealership network under a single brand identity, a process that has been underway since October 2025.

Group 1 Automotive Rebrands Denton Dealership to Standardize Network

The rebranding effort at the 4984 South Interstate 35 location does not signal a change in ownership or daily operations. Staff, management, and the core team remain in place to serve drivers across Lewisville, Corinth, and the broader North Texas region. By adopting the Group 1 name, the dealership aims to provide customers with a more recognizable identity while leveraging the resources, technology, and operational scale of an international automotive group.

General Manager Tyler Mitchell noted that the transition emphasizes consistency for those purchasing or servicing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles. While the signage has changed, the dealership continues to focus on the same transparent sales and maintenance practices that defined the site under its previous name. This alignment is part of a broader strategy for the parent company, which currently manages 251 dealerships and 37 different vehicle brands across the United States and the United Kingdom.
