Police Holster Accessory Automates Emergency Dispatch Alerts

A Georgia-based inventor has developed My Brothers Keeper, a patent-pending holster accessory designed to automatically signal dispatch the moment an officer draws their weapon. By removing the need for verbal communication during high-stress encounters, the device aims to accelerate backup response times and bolster officer safety in the field.

The system monitors the draw action, transmitting an immediate notification to emergency personnel or supervisors. This automated alert functions as a force multiplier, allowing officers to focus entirely on the unfolding situation rather than manual radio updates. The design is intended for use by law enforcement, military personnel, and private security forces who require rapid, reliable communication during critical incidents.

InventHelp is currently managing the licensing and commercial outreach for the prototype, which is cataloged under file number 25-TKA-469. Manufacturers and marketers interested in the technical specifications or the existing prototype can contact the firm’s Pittsburgh headquarters for further evaluation.
