Conner Homes Elevates Dalton Smith to Vice President

After sixteen years of climbing the ranks at the Bellevue-based homebuilder, Dalton Smith has been appointed as the company’s first Vice President of Business Operations. This strategic promotion places him in direct oversight of construction, purchasing, marketing, and sales, reporting directly to President Erin Fowler.

Smith’s trajectory within the firm began in 2010 as a summer intern. Following his graduation from the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management, he joined the staff full-time in 2012. His tenure has spanned key operational roles in both land development and construction, providing the background necessary to manage the firm's daily output across seven active Seattle-area communities.

For Conner Homes, a legacy builder with over 65 years in the local market, the creation of this new executive role signals a push to streamline the integration of its residential projects. As the company prepares to open additional communities later this year, Smith will lead the coordination of its townhome and single-family home divisions.
