Agility Robotics Expands into Silicon Valley with New AI Hub
To accelerate the development of its humanoid robot Digit, Agility Robotics has opened a 60,000-square-foot facility in Fremont, California. The new site will function as a dedicated hub for software engineering and machine learning, aiming to bolster the company's ability to refine robot capabilities for enterprise-scale deployments.

CEO Peggy Johnson stated that the proximity to regional innovation will allow the team to iterate on Digit’s skills more rapidly. With over 30 active customers—including names like GXO, Toyota, and Mercado Libre—and more than $300 million in orders for the Digit v5 model, the company is scaling its infrastructure to meet rising industrial demand for automated, human-centric labor. This move comes as Agility prepares for a public listing through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI, positioning itself as a pure-play contender in the U.S. robotics market.
