Rockville Centre GMC Rebrands Under Group 1 Automotive Identity
The GMC dealership on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre has officially completed its transition to the Group 1 GMC brand. While the name change took effect on February 18, 2026, the dealership remains anchored by the same local staff and community ties that have defined its South Shore operations since 2021.
General Manager Ken Ryan noted that the transition is intended to provide the dealership with the resources of a global retail network without disrupting established customer relationships. The store continues to offer its full range of new GMC models, pre-owned inventory, and maintenance services to the Long Island area, maintaining continuity for long-term clients while aligning with the company's standardized national branding.
