The new facility serves as the primary engine for the company's push into anaerobic digestion, biogas, and renewable natural gas projects. By consolidating administrative offices and commercial fleet management under one roof, Barrel Energy aims to streamline the engineering and deployment of sustainable infrastructure for municipal and agricultural clients across North America.

Chief Executive Officer Jarmin Kaltsas described the Hannacroix site as a foundational milestone for the firm’s national ambitions. The expansion arrives as the global renewable market approaches a projected $2 trillion annual valuation, with the company positioning its Happy Traps division to capture a share of the growing demand for industrial-scale waste-to-energy solutions.
