Saber Astronautics Unveils Saber Commander for Satellite Constellations
Saber Astronautics has launched Saber Commander, a new software platform designed to manage the increasing complexity of modern satellite constellations. Built upon the legacy of the company’s PIGI interface, the tool integrates automation and advanced visualization to streamline operations for fleets currently navigating congested orbital environments.

Saber Astronautics, which currently manages 36 tonnes of spacecraft through its Responsive Space Operations Centres in Australia and the United States, developed the platform based on direct feedback from its own mission teams. According to CEO Dr. Jason Held, the system aims to lower the barrier to satellite operations by emphasizing faster situational awareness and reduced manual workloads. Head of Product Engineering Chris Schuck noted that the platform consolidates commanding, monitoring, and decision support into a single interface to provide operators with greater control over larger, more demanding satellite fleets.
