As artificial intelligence and quantum computing converge, operators face mounting pressure to bridge the gap between experimental research and commercial infrastructure. BTQ Technologies, which specializes in quantum-era trust infrastructure, intends to provide the technical framework for this transition. By leveraging TIDAL PWR’s expertise in power generation and data center buildouts, the companies plan to define industry-wide standards for procurement, supply chain security, and post-quantum cryptographic integration.

BTQ Technologies and TIDAL PWR Partner on Quantum Data Center Blueprint
Vancouver-based BTQ Technologies and Texas infrastructure developer TIDAL PWR have entered a strategic partnership to establish a standardized architecture for quantum-enabled data centers. The collaboration aims to provide a practical roadmap for integrating quantum systems into large-scale AI and high-performance computing facilities through secure, repeatable deployment models.

Olivier Roussy Newton, CEO of BTQ Technologies, noted that the objective is to create a clear path for operators to evaluate and deploy quantum systems without treating them as open-ended research projects. The initial phase of the partnership will focus on developing a reference architecture that covers everything from hardware procurement to the protection of AI model weights and inference traffic. Chad Swensen, President and CEO of TIDAL PWR, added that this collaboration positions his firm to meet the specific infrastructure requirements of future quantum-ready data centers, ensuring that security and vendor alignment are addressed before market standards are firmly set.
