Ecotrak Adds Claude and ChatGPT to Facility Management Suite

Irvine-based Ecotrak is integrating Anthropic’s Claude and OpenAI’s ChatGPT into its facility management software, aiming to automate maintenance workflows and predictive diagnostics. The update embeds conversational AI directly into work orders and invoices, allowing teams to query equipment history and dispatch vendors using natural language instead of manual menu navigation.

Ecotrak Adds Claude and ChatGPT to Facility Management Suite

The new suite addresses the common friction of jumping between disparate management tools. By embedding Claude, Ecotrak enables staff to search through asset data, check repair histories, or trigger service requests through a conversational interface. This integration is designed to surface troubleshooting guidance before a formal work order is even generated, which the company claims will reduce unnecessary service calls.

Beyond the Claude Connector, Ecotrak has deployed ChatGPT-powered troubleshooting tools to assist technicians on-site. The system correlates specific equipment history with diagnostic AI to provide repair recommendations. Other additions include automated work order summaries, which distill raw data into narrative snapshots, and an energy management module that flags consumption anomalies to cut utility overhead. Customers can access these features via a 90-day trial before they transition to an optional subscription add-on.
